Awesome Analogies!

Before I started a blog and when chatting with friends I always regretted thinking up awesome gemstone analogies (as many of you should know =P) but now that I've started it up I can finally write them down! Haha, lets start off with my first one!

The first one popped into my head while I was chatting to Nat about getting over break-ups. Firstly, when you break up, you feel very saddened and will most likely have lots of excess 'baggage' which you will no doubt carry around with you for awhile. If time heals, and as time progresses you move forward in life, then if you don't let this baggage go then it will stay with you for life and never go away. So the hardest part in getting over a break up is to let the baggage go, and only then will time heal these wounds as time puts distance between you and the baggage. Letting go of this baggage is definitely the hardest part, and takes time, good friends, and self reflection ( say...a trip to taiwan perhaps? =]).

Well for me now...it feels like I'm no longer carrying any more baggage and I feel much more free and lighter! Yippee!
