Ahh...the first year of uni has finally finished...and so I'm sitting at home with a pile of books waiting to be studied and what do I do? Some e-shopping! haha...not good. Anyways...I was looking around for some iPod speakers and stumbled upon one of Sony's more quirky 'innovations'...
Check out...the Sony Rolly!
Hahaha...it's so mesmerising...but such a waste of existence! You gotta love japanese engineers...but despite that, this lil Sony Rolly sure re-invigorates my goal to become an electrical engineer in the hope that some day I'll be designing whacky devices like this!
Now I finally understand the lyrics from the funky Chris Brown song which makes you feel like dancing everytime you hear it - Forever:
"... double your pleasure, double your fun, and dance forever! ..."
Check it ouuuut! xD
Me and Terry's tickets to Chris Brown AND Rihanna's concert just arrived in the mail today!
I had to camp online for the 9am release of the 3rd and final show on the 7th November (the day of my last exam!) to snipe down these really awesome seats! Its too bad we couldn't get more people to come...
On another note, my mum and sisters came back from Taiwan yesterday, and my mum just hoarded all this department store super-fob summer clothing for my bro and I. The funny thing is the sizes she bought for me were too big, but the sizes she bought for my bro were too big for him and were just right for me, so I ended up taking all of his clothes which he didn't like anyway because he's really picky! Yayah! Most of the clothes are from Big Train (endorsed and modelled by Show Luo!) and it's really really fob...hahaha. If only my hair wasn't so damn short...
Uni assessments are all finished now...so it's a week of relative freedom and bludge before a good 2 weeks of 'solid' study kick in for exams! Woo!!
Recently, my mind has been bogged down with various things - uni, work, friends, family, and relationships. I was thinking too much about certain things and too hard that I lost the plot...and realised that I've been dwindling around for too long! Sometimes, when you're trying to go forward, you can't help but look back. Sure we've all made mistakes in the past. Learn from them and get on with your life!
This has impacted to the point of lowering my self esteem, but thanks to some dnm's and self-reflection, its time to get to know myself once more and feel like me again! First thing's first, and I'm going to start getting back into a regular exercise routine! After all, how can you love another before you even love yourself? Let's take things one step at a time =]
So I was going through old photos today to try and tidy them up (which includes deleting certain ones >__>) and it turned out to be quite a trip down memory lane... Friends have come and gone -I've drifted through quite a few different groups throughout my high school years as well, but looking back to then and now, you get to appreciate the true friends who were with you all the way. You guys know who you are, and I love you all =]
On a side note...another realisation of going through old photos is finding out how terrible your old hairstyles are...and also wishing you still had that wonderful hairstyle....oh god the pain.....-.-;; dang I feel like a girl blogging about this...but hey...guys care about their hair too!
